Storm Update

The DTE Storm Response Team continues to work around the clock to restore power to customers affected by the multiple waves of storms that impacted Southeast Michigan this week. In total, more than 200,000 customers have had their power restored as of Friday evening. We expect to restore 90% of customers by end of day Saturday and the remainder by end of day Sunday.

More than 4,000 team members, including 1,400 out-of-state field workers, are laser-focused on restoring power as quickly and safely as possible.

Please put safety first. Stay at least 25 feet away from downed power lines and anything touching them. If you're using a generator, keep it outside and away from your home, garage and windows.

If your power is out, please report it so we can send you updates on when it will be restored.
